Canceling a Mailing

You can cancel a mailing as long as you do so before 11:59 Eastern Time on the day we processed the letter. This video explains how to cancel a mailing in LGPass.

How do I know if my letters were canceled?

In a specific mailing record, you can scroll to the bottom of the mailing record and see the details of that record. In the screenshot below, notice that it tells you that the record was canceled.

Digging Deeper

For a complete history of this mailing record, you could click See Mailing Log and then you would see a history of this mailing record as shown below.

Notice that the order is from newest to oldest. Here the bottom record, is the oldest record and you can see that the letter was mailed in Test Mode. The middle record shows it was mailed in Live mode. The top, and newest record, shows that the letter was canceled.

Another Resource

Remember on your Dashboard screen, which is the first screen you see when you log in, it shows you mailing cost; You can click Details, and that will show you the mailings that you are being charged for.
