User Issue

Recently a user was having a hard time putting multiple properties on a deed. The issue was that the mailing name on the records did not match. In order have the properties appear on the same deed, the mailing name needs to match and the Property State and Property County need to match. This video explains the fix.

Step by Step

Step 1 Find the first mailing record and choose the clone mailing button. Populate the required information such as APN number and offer price, and them mark the 2 boxes on the bottom of the page so that an offer letter is not mailed for the property.

Step 2 Repeat this action for each property you are buying.

Step 3 Perform Due Diligence on each property and then move each property to the closing stage

Step 4 When all of the properties are at the closing stage, you can combine them into one closing record by choosing the related properties on the bottom of the screen.

Important The property state, the property county (both on the mailing tab) and the Legal Owner (On the Due Diligence Tab) need to be the same on all the properties in order to put them on the same deed.

Most people that struggle here have a mismatch here.

Additionally - one user was missing the step of joining the properties together on the closing tab. Remember, you need to reprint the deed to get a new copy.
